Accountability in banks is funny. It stops with junior level officers only. I am a retired Chief Manager of a big bank. Higher officials are seldom held accountable.

Why do we blame new promoter? Who has stopped others to bid for distressed assets? Banker should be questioned for sanctioning of such a hugh loans without having adequate underlying asset.

Promoter are getting back their company in 5% ,(as in Siva Ind case), Retail Shareholders value has gone zero as in DHFL and Videocon Case. Clearly Match fixing.
