Education indeed has no age barrier.

In Kerala, Muhammed Musthafa and his wife Nusaiba had passed the class 12 equivalency exams on March 19. Four months later, their son, Shammas, also passed his class 12 exams with good scores.

Musthafa and his wife could never complete their 12th due to family issues and this regret remained with both of them, despite living a good life in Abu Dhabi.

They moved back to Kerala  five years ago and since then were on a lookout to get their 12th done. They both enrolled in Kerala Literacy Mission's equivalency exams and went diligently for Sunday classes.

Nusiaba scored 80% while Musthafa scored a first class and all entire family has chosen commerce as the stream for further studies though the son, plans to pursue CA too. For the parents, all that matters is a being a graduate and studying with their son, who helps clear their doubts, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
