Hero MotoCorp titles HIL
Hero MotoCorp is the leader in the two-wheeler market in India. The company has ensured that they support some game or the other, always, never being partial to just one. Of course, now with Virender Sehwag as their Brand Ambassador, the company sponsors a lot of cricket tournaments.
India is a cricket crazy country and Hero has sponsored lots of its tournaments including the ICC, World Cup and the Champions Trophy. Recently, however, they have signed a multi-year title sponsorship deal with Hockey India League (HIL) for the upcoming Hockey Tournament making it the Hero Hockey India League. The company was also the title sponsor of the 2012 Olympics Qualifier Tournament and Hero FIH road to London 2012. This is the country’s national sport and HIL’s inaugural tournament would be held from January 14th to February 10th.
The tournament will have 120 players and 34 matches and be held at five venues- Delhi, Jalandhar, Lucknow, Mumbai and Ranchi respectively.
