Old cars get revived

There are new cars being launched in the market every day. Sleeker, smaller, bolder, pricier and thanks to the various car loans, well, almost within reach of a common man. But there will always remain some classics, a few car models which we continue to love and those models are now being revived with a new breath of life.

With the relaunch of Datsun, Nissan is just one amongst the many who are resurrecting, reviving their older, famous models. Volkswagen Bettle which is such a rage amongst today’s Y generation was first launched in 1938! It was relaunched again in 1998 in the USA. Chrysler’s Fiat 500 has not been seen and used since 1983 but it was launched again last year and is a success, all over again. Look alike to the eternal Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro was launched after a ten year break in 2009, winning the ‘World Car Design’ of the year in 2010.

Chrysler is also bringing another popular car, their muscle car, the Dodger Challenger back in 2013. Looks like the old saying works true here, old is indeed gold. Older the car, older the model; the more popular and classy it is! Or maybe it is the way in people reconnect to their past, their childhood when parents were driving these cars, reminiscent of the happy days.
