Tata Group is Number One

With Ratan Tata stepping down on 28th December, people are speculating how his successor Cyrus Mistry will fit in this role. Associated chambers of commerce and industry in India (ASSOCHAM) conducted a Perception Survey of top CEOs.

The survey was conducted in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, London, New York and Singapore, asking questions to 78 CEO’s and heads of both foreign and domestic companies. 77% respondents said that Mr.Cyrus will be able to steer the Tata Group in the right direction. The USD 100 billion Tata Group is India’s most respected brand and now, also India’s best known global brand. Mahindra and Mahindra led by Mr.Anand Mahindra also rated high in the survey for their innovative, futuristic decisions. Infosys Technologies, Wipro and Aditya Birla Group also made their mark on the global business landscape.

These companies take pride in being wholly Indian and are globally perceived as a top-rated International brand. These CEO’s have not just been inspiring leaders but have helped take ‘Brand India’ to a global platform.
