For many of the techies, if USA seems like a distant dream and feel that the rush to Australia is just too much, New Zealand is making and irresistible offer. A free trip, free accommodation and some sightseeing too – this is what New Zealand's capital city Wellington is offering to 100 tech workers to lure them for a job interview.

The city has launched a campaign called LookSee as part of its efforts to boost footprint as a tech hub. It'll be four days (May 8-11, 2017) of pre-arranged job interviews, meet-ups with tech leaders and exploration, with all flights and accommodation paid for.

How this works? You first register onto this website and then upload the CV. All the participating employers will be able to see your CV. If they find the CV interesting enough, you could have a video interview and employers could contact you directly. If you get past this, the employers might nominate you and voting in your favour, saying that they might like you to win one of the 100 spots and then you could fly into Wellington for an interview.

The more employers vote for you, the higher are your chances of getting an invite to New Zealand.
