Cyient hits new high

Cyient, which had closed yesterday at Rs.947.45, though opened lower at Rs.940, went on to hit a new high today at Rs.996 on the back of a 4-times rise in volumes.
The company announced its Q1Fy22 earnings wherein, its consolidated net profit came in at Rs.115 crore v/s Rs.103 crore (QoQ) and Rs.81 crore (YoY).
Revenue for the quarter was at Rs.1058 crore v/s Rs.992 crore (YoY).
EBIT came in at Rs,139 crore v/s Rs.51 crore and margins rose the sharpest – up from 5.2% to 13.1%.
