Sarda Energy, a vertically integrated steel and ferro alloy manufacturer with strong power generation capabilities is the top gainer on the BSE since the opening bell today. From its close of Rs.439.25, the stock opened higher at Rs.527.10 and went on to hit an intraday high at Rs.527.10, briefly touching its 20% UC of the day. Its 52-week high is at Rs.565.55.

The company, for Q1FY26 posted a 8% (YoY) rise in total consolidated income at Rs.1186 crore. EBITDA for the quarter rose 8.5% to Rs.305 crore while margins were almost status quo at 25.7% v/s 25.5%. Net profit was up 16% at Rs.165 crore.

The company’s ongoing capex in iron ore beneficiation plant and hydro power expansion remains on track and the commissioning of its new ferro alloy furnace is expected in Q2FY26. The company said that it now remains focused on improving backward integration and export competitiveness.
