TVS Motor in the green lane

TVS Motor Company is a smart gainer on the bourses today, riding pretty smoothly in the green lane. Th stock is up almost 4.5% currently at Rs.256, closer to its intra day high point of Rs.257.35. Its 52-week high is at Rs.322.30.
The stock is reacting to the very good sales number which the company posted for the month of June’15. Its total sales for the month were up by a robust 8% (YoY) at 2.22 lakh units. Two-wheeler sales were up 7% at 2.11 lakh units and three-wheeler sales rose 34% at 11,097 units. But the market was more enthused with the exports, which rose 26% at 43,025 units.
