Building barriers, a business

A company which is building a reputation of building walls, trying to cash-in on this somehow does not look like an ethical way of earning and living, isn’t it?

Magal Security Systems Ltd is an Israel based company  and is very happy that border security business is booming. Its biggest showcase – fencing in Gaza to prevent militant attacks. And it’s not just Gaza; this company has built barriers along the Egyptian and Jordanian frontiers. It is now competing for a contract to build a wall on Kenya’s border with Somalia.

The boss of the company said these chilling words, “the border business was down, but then came ISIS and the Syrian conflict. The world is changing and borders are coming back big-time.”

The company is now hoping Donald Trump wins so that they can bid and probably win the contract to build a fence in Mexico from USA.

Palestinians say Israel’s fencing project has turned the Hamas-ruled area into a prison trapping its 1.8 million residents. But the market and investors are not driven by morality and this company’s ADR has been roaring on the Nasdaq. This is how the market is, isn’t it? Always a pure capitalist only!
