So have you always wondered about how many who make it to the top league Universities in UK actually strike it big  as CEOs? Well, a recent study by crowdsourced pay-data website – emolument.com, analysed data from 26,000 former students to find the universities with the highest ratio of graduates to chief executives, chief technology officers, or partners.

And their finding shows that London Business School has the highest percentages of business leaders in their alumni ranks - one in twenty graduates go on to take a leadership role in company. Second spot goes to Cambridge – UK’s oldest and prestigious university and it has 3.9% of its alumni in top posts. Third is Birmingham at 3.2%, fourth is Strathclyde University at 3.1% and fifth is Leeds Beckett at 3.1%.

This is followed by University of London which includes 18 colleges including King's College and University College; Royal Holloway at 7th spot, Leicester University at 8th and Sheffield University at 9th.

Thus as against what we thought - bigger and older UK universities don't produce as many business leaders as we thought.
