Alkem Labs drops 9%

Alkem Labs, intra day dropped 7% to Rs.1271. It has since then recovered but remains in the red, down 4% at Rs.1313.
The stock is down after the company announced that the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency has made eight observations on the company's bioequivalence facility located at Taloja, Maharashtra.
The company said that it is in now in the process of putting together responses to address observations made by UK MHRA in its report. Alkem said it will submit the responses within the timeline stipulated by UK MHRA.
The company has stated that it does not anticipate any impact on its existing registered products in EU market.
