Alstom T&D drops on poor show

Alstom T&D India slipped down to Rs.357, very close to its 52-week low of Rs.349. It continues to remain 5% down at Rs.359 levels.
The market is very disappointed with the performance of the company’s Q4FY16 numbers, reporting a 44% (YoY) decline in net profit at Rs.30 crore on a total income of Rs. 978 crore, down 28%.
The company’s net profit for FY16 declined 36% to Rs.77 crore while its total income fell 7% to Rs.3450 crore. Order intake though during the year was of at Rs.3368 crore compared to Rs.3752 crore (excluding HVDC).
