Bharti Airtel on buyback buzz

Bharti Airtel is a smart gainer today. The stock opened in the green and rose over 3% intra day to Rs.363.85 and is now some 2% up at Rs.361 levels.
The stock is buzzing on the company’s announcement that its Board will be meeting on 27th April to consider a buy back of its equity shares though it did not give specifications about the percentage or amount of shares it intends to buy back.
Currently, promoters hold 66.74% stake and the public holds 33.21%.
