Jagran Prakashan buzzes with activity

Jagran Prakashan is in the limelight today. The stock, which had closed yesterday at Rs.169.50, opened today at Rs.178, going up to an intra day high at Rs.180.
The company announced yesterday after market hours that its subsidiary, Music Broadcast (MBL), will be soon coming out with an IPO.
The IPO will comprise of a fresh issue of upto Rs 400 crore and an offer for sale by existing shareholders. Naturally, this news has spurred on the stock price though it will take a few months for this to happen. Till then the stock will continue to show activity
