The strong man, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan of the Hindi film industry might have shed tears on hearing the verdict yesterday, acquitting him of all charges. But stocks like Mandhana Industries have been jubilant, celebrating since yesterday.
Mandhana Industries inched so close to its 52-week high of Rs.315 today at Rs.307 but soon after that it slipped to below Rs.300. Nevertheless, it continues to remain almost 7% up.
This company has an exclusive license with Salman’s NGO – Being Human for global distribution and marketing of clothing and other merchandise. This ‘Being Human’ brand contributes 10% to Mandhana’s topline. Thus for the company, his acquittal has come as a big relief and the traders are celebrating, being human!
