NIIT Tech surges on UK order

NIIT Technologies is amongst the top gainers on the bourses today morning. The stock, intra day, rose over 5% to Rs.571.Its 52-week high and low stands at Rs.632 and Rs.335 respectively.
The stock is up after it announced today morning that it has won a Rs.2200 crore contract from Ofcom, UK’s communication regulator.
The company will help Oxfam manage its infrastructure and application systems and offer customer focused service to improve the users experience of ICT services.
The contract is for over a six year period which includes an initial term of 4 years and extensions.
