Skipper is all powered up!

Skipper is all powered up today morning with trading volumes surging over two times. From yesterday’s close of Rs.137.30, it went up to an intra day high at Rs.148 and remains firmly almost 3% up at Rs.142 levels.
This less heard-of company, Skipper is engaged in manufacturing of PVC pipes and transmission towers. The company announced that it had received orders worth Rs.120 crore from Power Grid Corp for the supply of transmission towers in the domestic market.
This is obviously good news for the company which had ended Q3FY16 with a 9.5%(YoY) jump in net profit at Rs.19 crore. The company has conveyed that its focus would remain on national and export markets through expansion of capacities in the ensuing months.
