Barbeque Nation, which had closed yesterday at Rs.935.60, went on today to hit a new high at Rs.983.50, mainly on the back of its performance for Q1 thought bottomline was in the red.

The company reported a 939% (YoY) increase in net sales at Rs.102 crore with same store sales growing 960%. Its EBITDA came in at a loss of Rs.10 crore, impacted by the second wave and it ended up with a net loss of Rs.60 crore.

Its delivery revenue was at Rs. 56 crore, as increase of 1251% while consolidated sales recovery was at 48%, with recovery of 86% in July 21 vs. July 19.

The company opened 2 new Barbeque Nation restaurants and 8 restaurants are under construction while it opened 4 extension kitchens to increase the delivery footprint.
