  • Material subsidiary Lineage Power has received an order worth Rs. 488.46 crore from NTPC GE Power Services.
  • The order is for Battery Energy Storage System, or BESS, containers.
  • Scope includes supply, delivery, testing, supervision of erection, testing and commissioning.
  • The order covers 5.015 MWh BESS containers along with Battery Management System and Energy Management System.
  • It also includes a 12-year comprehensive maintenance contract.
  • Execution is expected by December 31, 2026, followed by the maintenance period.

The market is rewarding Pace Digitek because this is a sizeable order relative to the company’s market cap and strengthens its position in energy storage. BESS is becoming important as India adds more renewable power, because battery storage helps balance supply when solar or wind generation is uneven.

This order also shows that Pace Digitek is moving beyond telecom infrastructure into power and energy-storage solutions through Lineage Power. The combination of supply, commissioning and long-term maintenance makes the contract more attractive than a simple one-time equipment sale.

The bigger read-through is that PSU-linked power storage orders are now becoming a meaningful growth opportunity for smaller listed players. With NTPC-linked projects involved, investors are seeing better credibility, order visibility and execution opportunity.
