Trigger

  • Q1 FY27 revenue from operations rose 23.46% YoY to Rs. 1,083.58 crore.
  • EBITDA increased 21.42% YoY to Rs. 123.69 crore.
  • PBT rose 32.23% YoY to Rs. 87.47 crore.
  • PAT grew 34.34% YoY to Rs. 67.02 crore.
  • EPS improved to Rs. 5.50 from Rs. 4.09 in Q1 FY26.
  • Stock hit a fresh 52-week high of Rs. 784.95.

The rally is being driven by a steady Q1 performance, where revenue growth was supported by higher volumes and better execution, while profit growth outpaced sales growth. The key positive is that PBT and PAT growth were stronger than revenue growth, showing operating leverage and better cost absorption despite expenses also rising.

On the balance sheet side, Pricol continues to scale, with total equity rising to Rs. 1,254.89 crore in FY26 from Rs. 1,016.03 crore in FY25. However, working-capital intensity remains visible, with inventories at Rs. 539.33 crore and trade receivables at Rs. 577.80 crore in FY26. Borrowings have also moved higher, with short-term borrowings rising 32% at Rs. 265.76 crore and long-term borrowings rose 43% at Rs. 97.16 crore.

At the current price, the stock trades at a PE of 43.81 times on standalone earnings and 35.57 times on consolidated earnings, with PB at 10.81 times. After today’s 52-week high, the market may now watch whether Pricol can sustain margin expansion and earnings growth without a sharp rise in working capital or debt.
