SML Isuzu is up in the green

SML Isuzu is up in the green today, going up 3% to Rs.1157 levels though volumes remain subdued. Its 52-week high is at Rs.1433.85.

While most of the auto companies have reported declining or very subdued sales number for Dec’16, post the demonetization effect, SML seems to have had a very good run. Announcing its sales numbers yesterday, the company reported a 16% (YoY) jump at 1021 units sold. MoM, it has in fact shown a whopping 60% surge!

Its sales for H1FY17 have shown a collective rise of 21% at 8320 units sold and Q3 has shown a 12% rise.
