KRBL spreads its fragrance
KRBL is the top gainer on the BSE and this is in reaction to its Q1FY26 performance.
The stock, which had closed at Rs.371.30, opened at Rs.393.60 and rose to Rs.418.90, almost hitting past its 52-week high if Rs.419. It has come off the highs now and is trading at Rs.410 levels.
The company posted a 32% (YoY) increase in revenue at Rs.1584 crore on which net profit rose 74% at Rs.151 crore. EBITDA rose 64% at Rs.193 crore and margins expanded from 9.8% to 12.2%.
A 98% surge in exports is what drove the revenue; domestic sales rose 15%.
Established in 1889, KRBL is the world’s largest exporter of basmati rice, with iconic brands such as India Gate and Nur Jahan. The company operates one of the most integrated agri-business models in India, spanning seed development, contract farming, milling, processing, branding, and distribution across 80+ countries.
