Meesho is among the active gainers on the BSE today, rising 0.52% to Rs. 233.90 after earlier touching an intraday high of Rs. 245.45. The stock opened higher at Rs. 239.95 against its previous close of Rs. 232.70, with strong activity of 23.63 lakh shares and turnover of Rs. 56.76 crore. The company’s market cap stood at Rs. 1,08,261 crore.

Trigger

  • Meesho’s Mega Blockbuster Sale 2026 opened with strong demand.
  • Day 1 orders rose 75% YoY.
  • Peak orders crossed 75,000 per minute.
  • Transacting customers increased 60% YoY.
  • Content commerce orders rose around 3.7x YoY.
  • Earlier, Meesho said content commerce NMV grew 152% YoY, supported by 1.6 lakh active creators and 4 lakh sellers.

The market is reacting to the strength of Meesho’s festive-sale update. For an e-commerce company, order growth during the festive period is important because it gives an early signal of consumer demand, seller activity and platform traction. The 75% YoY jump in Day 1 orders suggests strong festive momentum, especially in value-focused online shopping.

The caution is profitability. The BSE screen still shows EPS data as unavailable/zero, so the rally is based more on growth and scale than earnings comfort. Meesho’s next test will be whether strong festive orders translate into better NMV, contribution margin and lower losses, rather than only higher volumes.
