Apart from all the ‘Modi’ stocks showing a gain, Sun TV is also among the top five gainers on the BSE. The stock today opened with a gain of almost 4.5% to Rs.577.30 and went up to an intraday high at Rs.597, going up almost 8%.

The stock is up in the green as the early trends show that DMK is leading in Tamil Nadu. This is naturally being perceived as good news for Sun TV as the channel is owned by Kalanithi Maran, the grand-nephew of deceased DMK leader, Karunanidhi.
