Being Human is human
The truth is when celebrities, Bollywood stars and others start their own charity organizations; it is usually for promoting ‘themselves’ as a brand. When Salman Khan began his ‘Being Human’ foundation; it was touted as just another NGO but in the past few years, the foundation has established itself as an organization for the underprivileged.
Now, with their latest initiative, the NGO has also earned itself the tag of being the savior for some regions in the drought-hit Maharashtra. The foundation will provide 2500 water tankers, each having a capacity of 2000 litres to the Marathwada region from May 6th to May 31st. The Beed district will get 750 water tanks, while 500 tankers will be sent to Osmanabad and Jalna while 250 tankers will go to Aurangabad and Nanded.
Since the Marathwada region has been the most affected region, the NGO has rightly allocated the maximum tanks to them. For now, at least, the ‘Being Human’ foundation is living to its name; they are serving humanity, being human!
