There are so many apps and yet so many apps, it has become virtually impossible to keep track of all of them. And now we hear that there is a new App which is changing our lives in many ways – an errand boy to do all our chores.

Known as “Dunzo” its an app backed by Google and in Bangalore, it is helping people complete their day-to-day tasks. Right from picking up groceries to bringing your charger from home to office, get medicines – it does everything.

The Duno delivery guys are seen all across Bangalore, whizzing past in their bright green helmets with a lightning bolt logo.

Kabeer Biswas first came up with this idea in 2014 by starting a Whatsapp group where he himself helped people do their chores like shopping for party supplies and helping get a car battery changed. Word spread quickly and as his phone got inundated with messages, he realized he needed to scale up.

Dunzo has three co-founders and it now does more than 2 million transactions a month across nine Indian cities including New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Hyderabad. It's even started a bike taxi service.

Dunzo charges customers based on the task and distance traveled, and says an average delivery costs less than Rs.100 with bulk of its revenue coming from the commissions 12,000 small businesses pay Dunzo to help them fulfill orders.
