Aqua culture in great waters!

Aqua culture companies are in the limelight today. Avanti Feeds rose 4.5% to Rs.390.15 and Waterbase increased over 3% to Rs.164.40.
The good news for this sector is that exports to the USA have gone up in terms of both volume as well as value in Oc’18.
India’s exported in Oct shrimp worth US $247.9 million and quantity was 2,78,60,983 kg. Its realisations were up 5% at $8.9/kg on month-on-month.
Those in the sector say that shrimp prices have been on the rise for two consecutive months and it is expected to remain buoyant in the coming months too.
