Berger Paints top gainer

Berger Paints remains the top gainer on the BSE, currently up over 3.5% at Rs.236.70 and volumes are up over 3 times. The intra day high stands at Rs.239.15.
The stock is up after UK Paints India, the foreign promoter bought 3.50 lakh shares or 0.1% stake in Berger Paints India at Rs 228.50/share in a block deal on NSE yesterday.
As at 30th Sept 2013, total promoter stake in the company stood at 74.96% of which UK Paint held 45.64%. Vinu Dhingra, who was the seller in the current deal, had held 2.21% stake.
