BHEL zooms on new order

BHEL is in the limelight today, currently up over 3.5% at Rs.209.05. Its 52-week high is at Rs.291.50.

The company secured contract for setting up a 1,320 Mw supercriticat thermat power project  on EPC basis from Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited, valued at around Rs 7,8oo crore, the order for setting up a 2x660 Mw coar-fired supercriticar thermar power project at Ennore sEz in Tamir Nadu, has been won by BHEL against international competitive Bidding.

With this projecl, BHEL has now won orders for supply and installation of 35 supercritical boilers and 30 turbines of 660 / 700. / 800 MW ratings. For this tender, BHEL partnered with Power Finance Corporation , another PSU, by syndicating the financing package in the current competitive environment.
