eClerx Services, currently among the top five gainers on the BSE, opened today around 9% higher at Rs.2398, to further rise to an intraday high at Rs.2505.35, up over 13.5%. Its 52-week high is at Rs.2970.
The stock price zoomed up after the company said that its Board is scheduled to meet on 9th Aug to consider Q1FY23 earnings and also a proposal for issue of bonus shares.
The company is engaged in business process outsourcing (BPO) and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO). Prospect of bonus or free shares is always a reason for cheer but it all depends on what ratio the bonus gets announced on 9th.
