GIC Housing jumps over 7%

GIC Housing Finance is amongst the top five gainers on the BSE since opening bell. The stock price surged over 7% to Rs.435.25 and is now hovering around Rs.427 levels.
The company posted a 28% (YoY) rise in net profit at Rs.60 crore for Q4FY18 on a 11% rise in total income at Rs.297 crore.
Its total loan portfolio for the quarter rose to Rs.11,235 crore, up 21% while total assets also rose 21% to Rs.11,355 crore.
