Hatsun Agro is the top gainer on the BSE, opening at Rs.749, a gain of almost 6.5% and rising to an intraday high at Rs.774.90, an increase of 10%. Its 52-week is at Rs.802.55.
The company declared better than expected earnings for Q1FY20 with net profit showing a good 35% (YoY) jump at Rs.51 crore on a 15% rise in revenue at Rs.1423 crore.
The company’s equity stands at Rs.15.98 crore and EPS for the quarter stands at Rs.3.17 (FV at Re.1/share).
Promoters hold 73.54% stake and 25 FIIs hold 5.2%. 2.3% of the promoters holding is pledged.
