Mangalam Drugs hits 5% UC

The moment it opened for trading today morning, Mangalam Drugs got locked at its 5% UC at Rs.80.05, with only buyers on the counter.
The company announced that it has received the final approval from World Health Organisation (WHO) for the drug Efavirenz, which is used in the treatment of HIV/AIDS. It is generally recommended for use with other anti-retrovirals.
Obviously this is very good news for the company as it could mean more demand, adding on to the bottomline.
