MMTC shines bright amongst gainers

MMTC is amongst the top gainers on the BSE, the stock is up 6.5% at Rs.53.50 which is very close to its intra day high of Rs.54. Its 52-week high is at Rs.106.80.
The stock is reacting to the news it announced yesterday evening – it has received orders for import of steam coal from Coal India Ltd and Andhra Pradesh Power Development Comp for approx 0.75 MMT(out of 5 MMT that CIL have initially tendered) and 1.6 MMT, respectively for supply during the FY 2015-16. The monetary value of this deal has not been mentioned.
The company had ended Q3FY15 with a net loss of Rs.21 crore which is more than 2 times the loss of Rs.9 crore it posted in Q3FY14.
