Oil India up and about

Oil India is up and about today. Opening higher at Rs.566, the stock went on to hit an intra day high at Rs.599 and it is currently at Rs.587.90, up over 4.5%. Volumes are extremely robust at 77,000 shares being traded over past two weeks average.
The stock is buzzing today on two counts. Firstly, there is news doing the rounds that the company could be added onto the MSCI Index, which is scheduled to be reviewed and up for a change tonight. This, if it happens could mean that the stock could see a massive surge in its volumes.
Secondly, yesterday the Ministry of Environment and Forests accorded 'green signal' to the company’s proposed exploration activities in KG ONN 2004/1 block in the Krishna-Godavari basin.
