Rhodia hits a new high

Rhodia Specialty Chemicals has hit a new 52-week high today at Rs.849, with an over one time jump in volumes.
The stock had hit a new high yesterday also and this was on the back of the company’s announcement on Wednesday that its promoter, Solvay SA, pegged an indicative offer price of Rs 675/share to delist shares of the company.
The promoter proposes to acquire up to 2.92 lakh equity shares, representing 8.673% stake and they currently hold 91.33% stake.
