TV Today zooms on "Damani" touch

TV Today is presenting a good picture today, with the stock opening with an upward gap of almost Rs.20, going on to hit an intra day high at Rs.220.70 and is presently almost 5% up at Rs.210 levels.

The stock is in the limelight following yesterday’s bulk deal on BSE, wherein Derive Investments bought 1.3 million shares or 2.18% stake in the company. This was purchased at a price of Rs.196/share. This Derive Investment is owned by Radhakishan Damani.

Mr.Damani is an ace investor, guru to Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and is the owner of the retail chain, D-Mart. His portfolio includes a string of blue-chip stocks that he has accumulated over the years. Notable holding is a 26% stake in cigarette maker VST Industries, an affiliate of British American Tobacco.
