What does NIFTY FIN SERVICE index comprise of?
This index comprise of 15 stocks that are listed on NSE. Nifty Financial Service Index measures the behavior and performance of Indian financial market which comprise of Banks, Financial Institution, Housing Finance and other financial service companies.
This index represents about 19.2% of the free float market capitalization of the stocks listed on NSE and 75.8% of the free float market capitalization of the stocks forming part of the Finance sector universe as on 31st March, 2016. These top 15 companies are selected based on their average daily turnover and average daily full market capitalization for the last 6 months.
