The air-cooling, Gujarat based company has posted a good set of numbers for second quarter ended 31st Dec 2014 ( year ending is 30th June). YoY, net sales rose 31% at Rs.151 crore, with EBITDA rising by a whopping 68% at Rs.52 crore. EBITDA margin rose from 28.5% to 33.6%. Net profit was up 45% at Rs.36 crore. 93%of its sales comes from India and balance from exports.

Despite being winter months during Q2, when it is actually off-season for the company, it did very well, reflecting probably the changing weather. During the quarter it sold 27% more units at 2,38,668 units and what further enhanced its bottomline is the increase in average price realization; at Rs.6277 per unit, it was up 1.5% (YoY) and sequentially up 3.45%.

This Ahmedabad based company mainly sells air coolers and it looks like things have really become great for this company in its current year. The company is almost debt free, has a small equity of Rs.7 crore and reserves stands pretty healthy at Rs.226 crore. Its net profit in first half of its year is at Rs.58 crore v/s Rs.99 crore posted in previous full year. Clearly, with two more quarters to go, it is sure to end its current year on a much higher note.
