Ashok Leyland hits a new high

Even before the sales numbers for the month of Feb’18 were declared, the stock price of Ashok Leyland hit  a new high today at Rs.143.80. After the numbers were announced, which were good, profit booking pushed down the price and it is currently just about holding on to the green at Rs.141.45, up 0.11%.

The company, in Feb sold 18,181 units, up 29% on a YoY.

M&HCV segment showed a jump of 21% at 13,726 vehicles while LCVs did the best with a 63% increase at 4,455 units sold.

Clearly, a very good month and we are sure to this getting reflected in the Q4 numbers.
