Dilip Buildcon gets onto the fast road

Dilip Buildcon rose over 4% to Rs.969 and continues to remain firmly in the green. Its 52-week high is at Rs.1009.10.

The company announced today morning that it has been awarded two new EPC projects valued at Rs.518 crore by Ircon International Limited. Both are for  6-laning various sections of NH-48 in Karnataka.

The company has stated that for the first 6-laning project – 6.85 kms on Davanagere-Haveri section of NH-48 package 1B , as against the bid price of Rs.157 crore, its order stands at Rs.148 crore. For the second part – 40.37 kms of Davanagere-Haveri section of NH-48 package 2, as against the bid price of Rs.360 crore, the order is for Rs.378 crore.

Both the projects are scheduled to be completed within 24 months.

In a TV interview, post these two orders, the company CEO stated the current order book stands at Rs.15,500 crore.
