Alphageo jumps over 18%

Alphageo India is showing some extraordinary activity today. Volumes are up almost 4 times and the stock hit an intraday high at Rs.234, rising over 18%. It is not too far from its 20% UC of Rs.237.70.
The market is happy with the receipt of its new order.
The company announced today that it is in receipt of Notification of Award (NOA) of Contract from Vendanta for 2D and 3D Seismic Data Acquisition Services in Assam.
The contract has been valued at Rs. 184 crore.
