BDL posts strong Q4

Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) is currently the top gainer on the BSE. The stock opened with a gain of 16% and rose quickly to hit an intraday high at Rs.355.70, a jump of 18%. Its not too far from its 52-week high of Rs.365 and its 20% UC for the day stands at Rs.361.85.
Riding on a very good jump in topline, the company posted a 150% (YoY) jump in net profit at Rs.310 crore and this was on a net revenue of Rs.1417 crore, a rise of 65%.
EBITDA rose almost 3.5 times to Rs.405 crore and margins more than doubled up from 13.7% to 28.2%.
The PSU makes defense equipment. The company offers ammunitions, counter measures dispensing, infra red interference indicators, and missile systems, serving the military and aerospace industries.
