Bharti Airtel lines jammed!

Bharti Airtel is showing weakness today, with the stock opening lower at Rs.306, the days low point and though it has recovered from this level, it remains in the red, at Rs.309.60, down over 1.5%.
The stock tumbled on worries that the company is likely to pay a penalty of Rs 650 crore, slapped by Department of Telecom, for allegedly violation of licence terms on the subscriber local dialing (SLD) services. Looks like the woes of the telecom sector just does not show any signs of a letup.
