Chemfab looks fab!

Chemfab Alkalis is in the green today morning, going up 3.2% to Rs.153.70, reacting to the news of its commissioning the PVC-O project in Sricity, Andhra Pradesh. This is a diversification project of the company and we will see contribution from this new venture coming in from Q4FY19.
The unit manufactures PVC-O pipes and fittings.
The company has a caustic soda capacity of 45,600 tonne per annum and 71% of its revenue comes from caustic soda and 15% from sodium chlorate.
The company is also in the process of increasing its caustic soda capacity from 125 tpd to 200 tpd and this is expected to go on stream by Q4FY19, taking the total capacity to 72,000 tpa.
