DB Corp is up in the green today, up currently almost 3% at Rs.239.95, close to its intra day high point at Rs.240.10. Its 52-week high stands at Rs.266.55. Market cap is at Rs.4400 crore.
The stock is up after the company announced that it is selling its entire 51% in Bhopal-based Divya Prabhat Publications Pvt Ltd (DPPPL), which publishes a Hindi eveninger Prabhat Kiran from Indore, as per a stock market disclosure. The company has neither disclosed the name of the buyer not the amount. This stake sale is a part of its restructuring exercise.
If one may recollect, the company had sold its 49% stake in Hathway BhaskarMultinet to Hathway Cable.
