Dr.Reddy’s Lab is up 2.37% at Rs.1878.30, its current intra day high point. Its 52-week high is at Rs.1968.60.
The stock is up in the green after it announced the launch of Zoledronic acid injection in USA following the US FDA approval.
This is a drug used for preventing skeletal fractures in patients with cancer and also for treating osteoporosis. Relcast, the existing equivalent generic version of the same in USA had total sales of around $355 million for the 12 months ended in Feb 2013.
