Gujarat Foils spurts on Q3 numbers

Gujarat Foils is on the high track today. The stock, which has closed yesterday at Rs.67.10, opened today at Rs.73.80, going on to hit an intra day high at Rs.78. The stock remains firmly in the green, up 15%.

The stock is up, reacting strongly to the very good set of numbers it posted for Q3FY15, purely on operational efficiency. The company posted a 38% (YoY) rise in net sales at Rs.139 crore with a 20% rise in net profit at Rs.3 crore. The market is more enthused by the fact that its net profit for 9MFY15 stood at Rs.8.79 crore v/s Rs.9.20 crore it earned for entire FY14. Clearly, it will end FY15 on a bumper note with one more quarter to go.
