Kalpataru Power towers up

Kalpataru Power Transmission hit a new 52-week high at Rs.233.25 with a 2 times rise in volumes. The stock remains firmly in the green, up over 5.5% at Rs.227 levels.
The stock is up in the green after it announced that it has received new orders to the tune of Rs.560 crore and this includes a transmission line project from Power Grid Corp in Kargil. It has also got an order from IOC to lay a pipeline.
In the Press Release, the company has stated that it is receiving good traction in domestic business in both transmission line and pipeline laying segments and is expecting improved order inflow from both domestic and international business in Q4FY15.
